My cat's chin is swollen, looks like a pimple. can i pop it?

My cat Lucy doesn%26#039;t appear to be in any pain, but it doesn%26#039;t look normal. Its like a big pimple. Its pink and has a white spot on the center. Think its serious? Can I pop it?|||Don%26#039;t pop it, unless you want your eyes scratching out! you can cause more harm than good, give it a couple of days if it doesn%26#039;t clear up go see the vet, and if it looks to be getting worse go to the vets sooner.|||do not pop it - dont even touch it.

this may be a cyst or skin infection could even be ring worm

bring your cat to the vet to confirm diagnosis good luck|||Don%26#039;t pop!!

Wrap your cat in a blanket or towel and used lukewarm, salted water and several cotton pads, gently bathe the area to keep it clean.

Eventually it%26#039;ll go of its own accord but your cat may scratch and burst it so you%26#039;ll want to keep it clean.

Some cats get what is called Feline Acne, it looks like they have black dirt on their chins, and it is caused by eating or drinking from plastic food bowls.

Time to buy some new food bowls too!|||NO. never pop. It could be a tumor and when they are removed/opened they tend to spread in the body. Ask your vet about it|||Cats do get zits. They are usually caused by unclean plastic dishes. Plastic is too porous to ever be completely clean and the oil and bacteria build and infect your kittys chin. Switch to ceramic dishes and see if it gets better. Popping zits is never a good idea. Have your vet look at it if it doesn%26#039;t clear up a few days after you change dishes.|||dont pop it

wait for it to go away

if it doesnt call the vet|||wow so does my PT. I took him to the vet and they gave him some antibiotics its getting smaller. I wouldn%26#039;t pop it if i were you, that may get it infected.
