I am quite afraid of the pain for punching a hole on my fingers, can use use my pimple%26#039;s blood instead of punching my finger?|||Technically you can if there is enough blood, but pimples often contain other fluids (lymph fluid) and can give and inaccurate reading. The most accurate place is your fingertips, which show what your current blood sugar is, while the ear, for example, shows what the blood sugar was for half an hour ago.|||Absolutley not, I grew up with a family of diabetics, my mom my sister my aunt my grandma my great grandpa lol. That is definitly not recommened and will not not giv eyou and accuarate reading of you actual blood sugar. after a while you will develop calluses and it won%26#039;t hurt anymor but for not you will have to tough it sorry buuuut there are some that allow you to prick on the arm look into it, it might be less painful hope this helps.|||I work in a laboratory and that would not be accurate as it will be diluted with other fluids, so the glucose reading will be lower than what it really is. as far as fingersticking goes, I have to do it too from time to time, and noooobody hates fingersticks as much as I do, but the home lancets (the kind that looks like a pen) are adjustable and when set on the lower settings, they are not too bad.|||No, because it has oil, sebum, and pus mixed in with it. That%26#039;s pretty gross. Just set the adjuster dial on your lancet device, it shouldn%26#039;t hurt at all.|||I work in a laboratory and test blood all day and that is not recommended by college of pathologists as a site for blood sugar testing...but to each his own.|||thats nasty but i think you can|||hmmm i don%26#039;t think so
i think blood from a pimple would be full of all sorts of other things like puss and dirt.
