Does toothpaste really works if you put it on a pimple?

Have you ever tried it and did it work? Thank you. x|||ok if you put toothpaste on a pimple, that is already red, the peroxide in the toothpaste will help, however, it has to be a big pink pimple, otherwise if its blackheads and stuff then it will aggrivate your skin and make it worse. and never leave it on overnight, it will make your skin worse. its like cleaning an injury with peroxide, same deal, it helps with cleaning it out, but you cant leave it on too long because it will aggrivate your skin. i reallly don%26#039;t recommend using toothpaste. |||It can help to dry it, but my dermatologist told me that it usually just aggravates the skin and can cause scarring and even more damage.

However, making an aspirin paste and dabbing it on overnite helps me reduce the swelling and redness (i use a little bit of uncoated aspirin, lemon juice, and honey).

That Clean and Clear Persagel stuff works wonders too (but i only use it overnight cuz it dries you out like CRAZY). Moisturize well afterwards...|||if the toothpaste has baking soda in it, it dies out the pimple and itll prolly go away. its an old wives remedy, but, sure, try it out.|||Kind of.

Sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn%26#039;t. You%26#039;ll have to try for yourself.

Hope ir works, though.|||yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some people do put toothpaste on their spots because they find it helps to dry them out. You need to be careful though, it%26#039;s possible the drying effect of toothpaste could irritate your skin.|||no, it actually worstens it|||yeah it helps a little. if you leave it on overnight, wash it off in the morning.|||No it makes ur pimple red and itchy!!
