I have an under the skin pimple on my forehead. It's weird because everytime i get it, its in the exact?

same spot. I notice that when the pimple isn%26#039;t swollen, as i run my fingers over my forehead i can feel a small hard bump from where the under the skin pimple was, but it doesn%26#039;t hurt when i touch it, only when the pimple is swollen it hurts. Does any one experience the same thing? What is going on, why does it keep reoccurring and why is there like a left over bump that doesnt hurt.|||There could be a left over bump for a few reasons; you could have %26quot;worked%26quot; this pimple often enough and hard enough to have developed scar tissue...It could be a sebaceous cyst...It could just be an over sized sebaceous gland--which makes it easier to get inflamed from time to time. It could be an ingrown hair. You can survive this: First off, QUIT RUNNING YOUR FINGERS OVER IT! Fingers are dirty--even when they%26#039;re clean, and you move dirt and debris into the pore making it flare up again! If it DOES swell up, DON%26#039;T %26quot;squeeze%26quot; it; get a warm wet cloth and put it on the spot for a minute. Gently but firmly, on BOTH sides of the zit, press straight down toward the back of your head. (Try to see which pore is the exit pore so you can avoid pressing on top of it.) If you can get a %26quot;pop%26quot; gently wipe the gunk away, and try again. Do this until the clear oil is gone, and only blood comes out. Clean, moisturize, and leave it alone. If you can%26#039;t get it to pop or clear by pressing, clean, moisturize, and leave it alone. DON%26#039;T try to %26quot;dry%26quot; out the pimple with alcohol or anything else; that%26#039;ll only make the gland produce more oil, and start the cycle over. Get something like Proactiv, and USE it. If you can%26#039;t get Proactiv, wash your face regularly with a mild soap--don%26#039;t scrub, just gently massage in a circular motion into a lather, rinse, and PAT dry. USE A LOTION!!! I don%26#039;t care HOW greasy your skin may be! Make sure that zit is moisturized! I gurantee that your skin will be/feel less greasy if you use a lotion. Now, the most important thing is this: USE A LOTION THAT SAYS %26quot;NON-COMEDOGENIC!%26quot; Lubriderm unscented is probably the best.

Do these things daily, and you%26#039;ll see results--better skin, fewer breakouts, and less severe breakouts when the do occur. Also, DON%26#039;T TOUCH YOUR FACE! Make sure that you have a clean pillow case, and if you wear a hat, keep it washed!!!

Hope this helps|||Thanks a lot! I had basically the exact same thing. I literally just tried it and i notice a difference already. Report Abuse
|||It%26#039;s called a cystic pimple. It%26#039;s when the pimple forms under the skin and doesn%26#039;t create a whitehead. It reoccurs because of hormones or non-treatment. I recommend the 4th %26#039;optional%26#039; step in the Clinique Acne Solutions line. You put the spot treatment over the pimple several times a day and it makes it go away in a few days.
