It keeps coming back in the same spot. It goes all the way away, and then it will be like a giant white head one morning again. The derm actually drained it and said it was an acne cyst, but that was weeks ago, and it%26#039;s starting to look like a whitehead again. USE it and reply with a positive feedback|||I have severe cystic acne and have been through a ton of problems, here%26#039;s what you should know:
1. Do Not Push on it!- pushing or popping the cyst will cause it to spread under skin resulting in a larger area and multiple cysts.Once you recieve a cyst it is most likely to return again in the same spot- which means if you caused it to spread by putting too much pressure trying to pop it, you%26#039;ve got a larger problem- I have lots of scarring and had 15 shots in my face, up to 6 at one time.
2. Washing your face too often or not often enough will cause a break-out- mostly caused by dry skin. You don%26#039;t necessarily need prescription items, lotion like Cetifil (hypoallergenic) is helpful, I use the Nutrogena face bar and wash my face with soap about 3 days a week and wash with only water the rest of the time (your face may need a diff routine)
3. The sun provides vitamin D that is necessary for your skin and tanning has kept me mostly cyst free for almost 2 years now, and I used to have my whole forehead completely covered (I tried popping mine like a pimple).
And lastly
4. Your face is in charge, don%26#039;t piss it off or your in a world of insecurity, stares, and nasty cysts. Good luck!|||It%26#039;s a cyst my dear and the only way to get rid of it is through surgery.|||Do you keep touching/messing with it? If so, you%26#039;re just adding fuel to the fire, so to speak. Leave it alone. Put a hot damp rag on your face to clean out your pores and apply an exfoliater once a week.
