i have a big red pimple in between my eyebrows and it wont go away i have had it for a while and school is just around the corner i have a lot more smaller ones that arent THAT noticiable. do u have any tips on how to clear it up or when it will go away
any extra information would be great!!!!!|||Well i used to us ARBONNE ADVANTAGE but my body just sort of created a immunity for itt. so what i use now are three things from one line of acne killers and one thing from another one.
1. OXY FACIAL SCRUB MAXIMUM... this is a great acne wash for reducing redness in acne and decreasing the size of them noticably
2. OXY FACIAL PADS CLEAR MAXIMUM.. what these do are after you wash your face with the scrub this soothes your face and brings a cooling sensation.. pluss these are great for oily faces becuse they wipe away the oil.. and they create a sort of shield so that no bacteria can get inside of your pores.
3. OXY VANISHING LOTION MAXIMUM.. this is one of my favorite things. what this does is it cleans your pores out so that more that 99.99% of the bacteria is out of them.. then you cann just put it one your pimples as sort of a mask for about ten minutes then wash it off and the size, color and roundness of your pimples should be more than halfway gone
4. CLEAN AND CLEAR PERSAGEL..thi is by far my favorite thing.. this totally erases all of your pimples. you just put it on before you go to sleep kind of as a mask and the next morning when u wake up our acne should be totally gone. also if you are conserned that your coverup is going to clog your pores then just right before you apply your coverup use this as alotion and rub it all over yourface thenn just apply your coverup as iff nothijng is there. it will help fit acne. plus since it is pretty thicke it will coverup your pimples noticably
all of the following things that i just listed up there i bought at my local grocery store for under 5$ each..
im glad that i could help
aww that suxx and im gladd that i could help!|||Ok. well if you wax your eyebrows then thats why your getting zits there. you can go to the dermatologist (thats what i do) and they will give you something that works fast. also you can try something that cleans your skin and vibrates such as the neutrogena Wave or the Clean and Clean black head eraser, when it vibrates it cleans faster. something else that worked VERY well for me is the clinque blemish pen or pencil? (im not sure on the name, i think thats it) its covers your blemishes but also helps clear your skin. it works GREAT.
Hope i Helped|||if you use proactiv use the proactiv refining mask to dry out the pimple.
if you dont have that put clean and clear on it. and wash your face everyday with a facial scrub so that doesnt happen again.
i usually use clearasil facial scrub when i wake up and before bed so it helps my face clean and no dirt or bacteria on it. that causes pimples too. i use proactiv refining mask everyday and clean and clear following after that. i also have neutrogena rapid acne eliminating gel. people say using toothpaste works too but i never tried doing it so i cant comment on that. if you do that the pimple should be gone in 1 to 4 days maximum. i hope my answer helped. ;] thanks.|||Hi Bri! I understand your problem. I have pimples too - but if you care for them right, they can go away in just a few days.
Recently I got one right on the side of my nose. Embarrasing!!! lol. However, I tried popping it, and I went to far - to the point of it bleeding. Dont do this!! It will make it infected.
Instead, pop it until the stuff comes out - but nothing more. Dont overwork it.
Then, wash your face really well. Do NOT apply moisterizer to your ENTIRE face for a couple of days. Your pimple should shrink dramatically.
I really hope I helped. If there is anything else I can do for you, just email me at acyboy1@yahoo.com
Oh, if the popping and washing doesnt help, try some acne cream. Clear and Clean has a good one. :) its in a tube.
Try it out.
Good luck!!
Elsie :)))|||okay, well, i know everybody says not to pop them, but if it%26#039;s been there for a while, and you%26#039;ve tried treating it, i suggest doing so.
don%26#039;t squeeze it to death, but get some of the junk out. (gross, i know)
and then, wrinse your face with hot, hot (not warm) water.
wash your whole face with a deep cleansing face wash, and then re-wrinse with hot water. then take an ice cube and rub it all over your face to close your pores.
pat dry(not rub) with a paper towel.
then don%26#039;t touch your face for a while.
get into the routine of washing your face before you go to bed, and try to in the morning as well, if it doesnt dry out your skin.
if it isnt gone by school, then you can cover it with makeup during the day, and wash it off after.|||i had this pimple once that i never thought would go away. however, after a few days of this routine, it went away:
morning (after shower): clean and clear acne wash (purple bottle)
morning (right before putting on make-up): oxy acne medication (black tube)
afternoon: washed off make-up with diaper wipe followed by plain water
night-time: clean and clear daily facial wash
after a few days it was gone.
i%26#039;ve also tried toothpaste. that didn%26#039;t really seem to work. good luck!
|||Well an easy, quick way would be to put some toothpaste on it (yeah, I know it sounds weird, but it works). I put it on my troblesome spots before I go to bed and then I wash it off when I wake up. But you can also get fast-acting creams and gels and such at Walmart that are pretty cheap and work quite well. I prefer Neutrogena Rapid Clear Gel, it comes in a small tube and is about five dollars I think. |||try to get clinic clarifying lotion and clearisil vanishing acne treatment cream....they work good! i have a pimple too and it didnt go away for a while and so i started using them and it starting to going away!! first i rub the clinic on then i put the clearisil cream. and dont put lotion near the area of the pimple so it will dry the pimple out....good luck!!|||wow i have the exact same prob apply tea tree oil after splashing face with cold water with a cotten pad DIONT GET IN IN EYES you know that burning sensation you get when you soap i your eyes this is ten times worse and only gets worse when you splash your eeys with water |||put egg whites on your face and on your neck if necessary.
it sounds weird i know.let it on for about 20 minutes or until it drys.
youll notice the difference in about 2 days.|||use the st. Ives scrub.. works amazing.. and the best way to hide it.. is the mac concealer.. i would die without it!!|||Iam a Registered Nurse and I specialize in skin care and teen acne.
In my experience of 12 years alot of commercial store bought products DO NOT WORK!
Both products you mentioned OVER DRY YOUR FACE as do most store bought products. I have been taking care of teen acne for 12 years and I dont recommend them at all!!!
PLEASE READ THIS WITH YOUR MOM, I have a great solution for you!
Your question is very broad and you need to get professional advice. I will explain why it%26#039;s a broad question!
Your age plays a role! How old are you? Do you always have breakouts?
However, acne can result from several factors such an increase in hormone levels. In males testosterone or androgens. In females, androgens respectively. The increase in androgen levels can stimulate the oil glands to become enlarged and thus more oil production is produced. An increased oil production can clog the pores with oil or sebum ( white thick substance) which cause the cell walls of the pores in the skin to breakdown. This process allows bacteria to form and thus breakouts develop.
Genetics may also be a cause. It is a myth that greasy food or chocolate causes breakouts.
However, using make-up sponges that are not changed or washed often can contaminate the pores with bacteria which may develop into acneic breakouts.
If you are a teenager ( which I assume that you are) your hormones play a definite role in your breakouts.
If you have severe breakouts than you might need medication. There are many factors.
The most important thing is that you need products that are AGE APPROPRIATE! Every age group has different products appropriate for them. If you are young than you need milder products as to not dry out your beautiful young skin.
The problem with commercial skin products is that they are manufactured for MASSES OF PEOPLE and are not specifically made for different peoples%26#039; needs.
Your skin type is different than mine and your age differs from mine so how is it logical that we both use the same skin product for breakouts. We need different strengths of cleansers and toners. Do you kind of understand what I am getting at?
Here is my STRONG SUGGESTION for you. I refer all my students and patients to this website:
www.aboutyourskincare.com
You need to consult with professionals and on this website YOU CAN ASK QUESTIONS FOR FREE AND A SKIN EXPERT/PHYSICIAN WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. It would be a shame if you dont take advantage of this free service.
Lastly, they have incredible products for breakouts and they make them specifically for every kind of skin type. That means that if your breakouts are more severe than mine, than while we both will buy the same product yours will have stronger ingredients than mine will.
They have a mild glycolic acid cleanser that%26#039;s great for your type of skin and also a DRYING LOTION ( I have 3 bottles) that you put directly on your breakouts and the next day it%26#039;s gone. It%26#039;s truely magic in a bottle.
A basic guideline for properly taking care of your skin is this ( now if you%26#039;re a young girl you will need fewer products than this):
Night time:
1. Exfoliate the skin
2. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser
3. Mild Glycolic Acid Toner ( cleans off the excess debris and balances the PH level of the skin).
4. Drying Lotion used only on breakouts
5. Moisturizer
Morning:
1. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser
2. Moisturizing cream
The above is a standard you may need to only use one or two products. Visit: www.aboutyourskincare.com
As I suggested and click on the ASK FOR FREE section send them an email and you will get free expert skin care advice.
Good Luck to you,
Michelle
